The Right Seed: It All Begins with the Seed

The right seed produces freedom from sin, a hunger for the Word, love for the church, and the power to obey Christ, resulting in much fruit. Everything starts with the seed and ends with many new seeds, as seeds are what can reproduce themselves.

The Right Ground – Growing Strong

The right (good) ground, cultivated and free from thorns, will cause the right seed to grow and multiply, producing much fruit—thirty, sixty, and one hundredfold. The right seed cannot do it alone; we also need the right ground.

Doers of the Word – Not Only Hearers
(3 of 8)
True growth happens when people do the Word. If we only listen, we deceive ourselves because fruit comes from what we do, not just from what we hear. Hearing should create a faith that leads to action, and it is this action that produces growth and good fruit.

Following the Model of Jesus – We Need It All (4 of 8)
 If we only focus on the lost, or only on the twelve or the multitude, we miss the DNA of Jesus. It is only when everything comes together, as seen in Jesus’ life, that lives are truly transformed, disciples are made, and the gospel is spread.

We are born as babies but should not remain that way. With the right food at the right time, we can grow from spiritual infants to young ones, and eventually to mature parents, all in a very short time, raising up the next generation.
