A New Chapter Begins: 'Moving' from Mexico to Norway for a Time
Hope you're all doing well.
I'm writing this from Mexico, where we have been for almost a year and a half. This will probably be the last blog from here, as our time in Mexico has come to an end. It has been an incredible season, and the fruit we have seen has been unlike anything we have ever experienced before. I know my time in jail has played a significant role in that.
When I came here, we connected with a group of pastors, and I told them I would probably only be here for about a year to help them change and reform to become disciple-makers. I can confidently say that this has truly happened. It has been incredible, and now we are leaving, but that doesn't mean the work here will stop.
In a few weeks, there will be the first-ever Spanish summer camp here at the camp, and after that, one of the pastors will embark on a road trip across Mexico for a month to follow up with the churches we have been working with. When he returns after a month, another pastor will continue the road trip for a month, following up on similar churches as this work continues to grow across Mexico. They have never had a Spanish-only training school here before, and in January, they will have a new bilingual school. We may come back to visit, but only as guests. The work they have started will truly continue, and they have been a blessing to many churches.
What we have seen God do here is now ready to be brought to other parts of the world. For those who have been following me, I have felt that our work in the United States is not over, and I still believe it is not. God will soon call us back, but that time has not yet come. I am still a national security threat with Homeland Security and cannot enter the United States until my name is cleared. I believe that will happen soon, especially with the new administration. I have faith in God that it will happen in due time.
One thing is clear: God has spoken and called us, and the next step is not the United States, but Norway. It is truly time for Europe, and I am very excited! I did not see this coming; it came as a big surprise to me, but I see God working in a special way. The book "412 Days" has already been published in Norwegian, and there is a hungry group there. I believe we are ready to take what we have seen in Mexico to Norway and throughout Europe.
We are also launching a new teaching series I have been developing for over 20 years. Everything God has been teaching us is now coming together in this new series, and I will share more about that later.
For now, I want to send this video where we share a little about this journey—what God is saying and how He has called us from Mexico to Norway. I will share more about the series very soon.
